| Job Description | Job PurposeTo coordinate resource mobilization and strategic partnerships by identifying funding opportunities, developing proposals, and fostering collaborations to sustain hospital programs and initiatives.Duties and responsibilitiesReporting to the Director, Training and Research, the position holder will be responsible for the following:
i. Identifying and developing programs and projects for external funding opportunities. ii. Building strategic networks and partnerships with donors, development partners, and stakeholders. iii. Mobilizing stakeholders to support resource mobilization initiatives and hospital programs. iv. Drafting proposals, briefs, and concept notes for funding programs and projects. v. Preparing work plans, resource mobilization documents, and maintaining an updated resource mobilization database. vi. Conducting research on donor trends, funding priorities, and stakeholder practices to inform strategies. vii. Establishing and maintaining relationships with partners to enhance collaboration and sustainability. viii. Any other duty as may be assigned. |
| Job Specification | Key Qualifications and Experience Requirementsi. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Commerce, Business Management/Administration, Political Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, International Relations and Diplomacy or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. ii. Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Commerce, Business Management/Administration, Political Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, International Relations and Diplomacy or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. iii. At least nine (9) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been in the grade of a Senior Partnership & Resource Mobilization Officer or in a comparable position. iv. Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution. v. Proficiency in computer applications. vi. Compliance with Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
